Landscape Construction Laborer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, installation, and cleanup for landscape construction projects
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, and wheelbarrows safely and effectively
• Dig trenches for irrigation and drainage systems
• Move and distribute materials such as soil, rock, mulch, and gravel
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from trucks and trailers
• Operate small equipment (trenchers, augers, compact machinery) with training
• Support irrigation and drainage installation under direction of crew leaders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors and foremen

Requirements

• Previous landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic and reliability—show up ready to work every day
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on physical work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Exposure to dust, noise, and typical construction site conditions
• Fast-paced, team-oriented job sites
