About the role

The Landscape Construction Crew Member is a critical part of our team responsible for installing plants and other hard materials, maintaining lawns and landscapes, and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install plants and other hard materials
• Cut lawns using various sized power mowers
• Trim and edge using a gas-powered edger/trimmer
• Operate a gas-powered blower
• Trim shrubs and low trees using shears, pruners, or gas-powered hedge trimmers
• Use landscaping tools and operate heavy equipment as needed
• Pick up leaves, trash, and cut grass, placing them onto burlap and loading onto a truck or trailer
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe
• Ensure use of proper equipment and adhere to safety standards and precautions

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, and talk or hear
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
