Landscape Construction Crew

About the role

Landscape East & West is a full-service, award-winning, eco-friendly, customer-focused landscape contractor. We are seeking a landscape construction/installation crew member with 1.5+ years of landscaping and/or construction experience. You will learn from top experts in the field and work on some of the country’s largest and most complex landscape projects, with opportunities to share and exchange best practices across our national network of family companies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and take direction from the Crew Leader & Project Manager
• Perform various tasks such as demo of existing landscape, site preparation and grading, drainage installation, irrigation installation, natural stone and concrete paver hardscapes (paths, walls, patios), plantings, lighting, and other elements per the landscape plan
• Operate truck & trailer

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand plan drawings
• Operate machines such as Dingo, skid steer, excavator, trencher, cut-off saws, and other hand-held equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience driving Isuzu or other large trucks & trailers
• Communicate effectively with both employees and onsite contacts
• Plant identification a plus
• Ability to lift 90 lbs repeatedly throughout the work day
• Able to navigate through clients’ property on uneven/rough terrain
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay

$21 – $25 per hour
