Landscape Architect/Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer/Estimator with a minimum of five years of experience to join our Design/Build Department. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, providing cost estimates, and collaborating with clients, architects, and estimating staff.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints/plans quickly and accurately
• Perform construction cost estimating for projects of various sizes
• Produce high-quality graphics and computerized models in Lumion
• Prepare construction documentation
• Manage project estimating, contracts, submittals, and change orders
• Work directly with clients, architects, and estimating staff to coordinate projects
• Participate in design and construction meetings
• Demonstrate creative thinking and strong organizational skills
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with new and current clients
• Work efficiently under tight deadlines and high-volume workloads

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field (B.A./B.S./M.L.A. preferred)
• 5+ years of qualified practice in a design firm
• 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial landscape design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and MS Office (strong Excel skills required)
• Experience with project estimating, contracts, submittals, and change orders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills

Schedule

Full-time, in-person position. Monday to Friday.
