Responsibilities
- Design & Project Development
- Develop landscape architecture concepts, site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation plans, and related construction documents.
- Prepare project graphics, renderings, exhibits, and presentation materials for clients, public meetings, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with civil engineering, planning, and other disciplines to integrate landscape architecture solutions into overall site development plans.
- Contribute to master planning, parks and recreation design, streetscape improvements, trail systems, urban design, and community development projects.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, ordinances, accessibility requirements, and sustainability goals.
- Project Management & Coordination
- Coincide with internal disciplines, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Participate in client meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Conduct site visits and field observations to evaluate existing conditions and monitor project implementation.
- Support project pursuits, proposals, and business development initiatives.
- Technical Responsibilities
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and related design software to develop project deliverables.
- Perform site analysis, grading coordination, planting design, and material selection.
- Afford quality control reviews and ensure adherence to company standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- LEED AP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
- Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles, zoning regulations, and sustainable design practices.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
