Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture, specifically with experience in Florida plant materials and county-specific regulations. This position involves working on landscape plans for national builders, site contractors, and customer builders who require high-level, custom designs. Responsibilities Develop and edit landscape plans for national builders and site contractors.Create lot-specific plans based on builder requirements and modify existing plans as needed.Collaborate with the estimation team to understand basic package requirements.Integrate site plans into AutoCAD software and add design elements.Ensure all designs meet specifications and regulatory requirementsProvide advanced design work for custom projects.Stay updated with county-designated plans and legal requirements to ensure compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.Landscape Architect License (Florida DBPR)Extensive knowledge of Florida plant materialsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant design toolsStrong attention to detail and the ability to produce legally binding, compliant plans.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Creative problem-solving skills Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk and computerUse hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipmentCommunicate verbally and in writing with employees, clients, and vendorsOccasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift office materials and suppliesLift and/or move items up to 15–25 pounds as needed (such as files, boxes, or office supplies)Maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced office settingReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
