Location: 6260 Dry Creek Rd., Eagle Point, OR
Schedule
Landfill operating hours are Monday - Saturday, 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Shifts are 8-10 hours per day depending on service demand. Additional work on other days may be required as needed.
Pay
Starting pay: $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Facility maintenance including debris cleanup
- Traffic management
- Operate landfill tipper and other small equipment as needed
- Perform various utility tasks
- General office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work
- Learn landfill operations
- Adapt to changing duties based on daily operational needs
- Work in compliance with all landfill required permits
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Legible handwriting and basic communication skills
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and read equipment manuals in English
- Comfortable using smartphone and tablet technology for daily activity recording and team communication
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in a labor-type position
- Commitment to following all required safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work safely alone and with others
- Honesty, trustworthiness, and good decision-making skills
- Developing time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Ability to work at a fast pace and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hour shift
- Experience operating equipment or mechanical ability is a plus
Working Conditions
- Constant exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises
- Extensive physical activity requiring strenuous work, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds
- Exposure to hazards or physical risks requiring adherence to basic safety precautions
- Ability to safely climb on and off heavy equipment for operation, cleaning, and inspection
- Must pass random drug and alcohol tests in accordance with DOT and company standards
