About the role
This role supports operations and maintenance activities for landfill gas systems, with a focus on analyzing landfill well data, maintaining mechanical equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient gas collection operations across multiple sites in the Marshall, MI area. We will train! Just looking for an individual who has the desire to learn and build a career! The position operates as a landfill gas technician supporting landfill within 1 hour of the assigned site in Marshall, MI. The role involves working at multiple surrounding landfills, including several local sites and additional locations within the state, with occasional support for sites in neighboring states. Work is primarily field-based at active landfill facilities, involving outdoor conditions, varying weather, and exposure to typical landfill environments. The technician uses company-provided equipment and has access to a company truck for travel between sites.
