Landfill Equipment Operator

About the role

The Equipment Operator supports daily Landfill operations through heavy equipment operation, site maintenance, scale house support, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and hand and power tools
• Support site maintenance activities
• Provide scale house support
• Engage in customer service interactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
• 1+ years of experience operating heavy equipment and hand and power tools preferred

Pay

This is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position with a wage range of $23.43 to $28.71.

Schedule

The position works a Wednesday-Saturday schedule consisting of four 10.5-hour workdays, including a meal break.
