Land Surveyor Assistant

Carnes & Ekparian is seeking a Land Surveyor in Training with more than three years of practical experience to join our team in Gilroy, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary pre-calculations and resolution
• Prepare parcel maps, final maps, and topographic maps
• Manage data, including quality control, translations, and rotations
• Conduct field work for topographic, boundary, and other surveys

Requirements

• A.S. Degree or B.S. Degree in Surveying or Geomatics Engineering
• California Land Surveyor In Training Certificate
• More than three years of practical experience, including:
  • Boundary surveys
  • Topographic surveys
  • Record of surveys
  • Parcel/tract maps
  • ALTA maps
  • Legal descriptions/exhibits
  • Construction staking

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Land Desktop
• Time management and organizational skills
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
