Control Point Associates is a leading surveying firm with over 30 years of experience specializing in construction stakeouts, boundary surveys, and 3D laser scanning. We serve industries such as construction, engineering, and land development and are expanding our team in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all phases of field surveying, including construction stakeout, topographical surveys, preliminary boundary analysis/stakeout, and as-built surveys using tools like Trimble, Leica, Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, auto-levels, GPS RTK units, wireless communications, and 3D laser scanners
  • Conduct field calculations and sketches; download and verify data accuracy for all survey documents
  • Maintain and secure company equipment and vehicles, ensuring proper safety precautions
  • Represent the brand professionally while communicating with customers on-site
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, construction stakeout, etc.
  • Experience using robotic total stations (Trimble, Spectre, Leica), data collectors, auto levels, and GPS RTK units; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
  • High school diploma and strong math and computer skills
  • Willingness to expand skillsets and adapt to new technologies
  • Ability to complete additional certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30/40, Hazwoper, TWIC)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work overtime and travel with overnight stays if required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 8+ hours a day

Pay

$18–$25+ per hour, depending on experience
