About the role
A Land Services Project Manager at Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) oversees the budget and resource utilization for land projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between SAM and clients, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and report on project budgets and resource utilization
- Key point of contact between SAM and clients
- Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple land projects
- Track deliverables and ensure services meet company and client specifications
- Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts
- Create and manage work plans and staffing requirements for multiple land projects
- Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships
- Conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders
- Interface with sub-consultants and other business relationships
- Support other operational units as needed
- Report financial status including accounts receivable/written in process (AR/WIP) and billing cycles
- Represent company interests during meetings and trade shows
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-related work experience in a professional or management capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly define assignments and deliverables to team members
- Ability to oversee, mentor, and motivate a project team
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem-solve on the fly
- Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with others
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
