Land Manager
About the role
The Land Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating land and real estate activities for utility-scale renewable energy and battery energy storage projects, while also supporting broader project development priorities. The role will work closely with development partners, landowners, consultants, title companies, surveyors, outside counsel, and internal teams to advance site control, land diligence, and other project milestones from origination through construction readiness. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with renewable energy land matters and strong project management capabilities. This is a versatile development role for someone comfortable moving between real estate transactions, greenfield opportunity assessment, M&A due diligence, consultant management, project controls, and other workstreams as business needs evolve. Reports To: Head of Development
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate land acquisition and site control strategies for project sites, gen-tie routes, access, and supporting facilities.
- Work with development partners and land agents to advance leases, options, easements, amendments, crossing agreements, access agreements, and related land rights.
