Land Acquisition Paralegal

About the role

ArborMetrics Solutions (AMS) is currently hiring a Land Acquisition Paralegal to support our Land Services team. We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values the independence of working autonomously while collaborating across functional teams. This role supports the successful execution of large-scale transmission and infrastructure projects by driving land acquisition strategy, process standardization, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

The Land Acquisition Paralegal plays a critical role in promoting operational excellence while delivering high-quality service and value to internal stakeholders. This is an office position based in Juno Beach, FL.

• Process Development & Optimization: Design, document, and continuously improve land acquisition workflows, procedures, and training materials.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Land, Legal, Title, Contracts, and Development teams to align project execution.
• Systems, Data & Training: Maintain accurate land acquisition data within tracking systems and databases.
• Project Support & Analysis: Support land acquisition activities across all project phases (pre-bid through operations).

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in land acquisition, title research, real estate operations, or a related field.
• Strong ability to review title documents, verify ownership, and interpret legal descriptions.
• Working knowledge of land contracts including easements and options.
• Experience supporting end-to-end land acquisition processes for infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
• Strong document management skills (Adobe Acrobat Pro preferred).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

What would be amazing to have:

• Experience as a real estate or contracts paralegal.
• Background in land acquisition or land data management.
• Familiarity with land management or GIS platforms.
• Knowledge of eminent domain processes.
• Experience supporting energy or transmission projects.
