Laminator Operator
Giro Pack, Inc. is seeking a Laminator Operator to join their team at the Vidalia, GA location.
Responsibilities
- Ensure lamination machines are operated correctly and report any shortcomings to the supervisor/maintenance in a timely manner
- Complete required production forms
- Maintain/lube production machinery as needed
- Stand for long periods of time
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow inspection procedures
- Change and/or replace film bobbins
- Verify stability of material as well as proper glue application
- Follow planning order and work priorities
- Clean machines according to procedures
- Report SAP or IT shortcomings immediately
- Conduct other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements and Skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Very good vision and ability to handle intricate, detail-oriented work
- Plastics Injection Molding/Warehouse experience is an asset, but not necessary
- Must be able/willing to work a flexible schedule
