Laminator

About the role

VSR Industries manufactures high-security locks, custom fabricated sheet metal, and wood products for the casino gaming industry. The laminator role is a full-time, day-shift position in our Henderson, NV plant.

Responsibilities

• Apply contact adhesives to composite panels using a spray gun or roller.
• Laminate covering materials onto composite wood or metal substrates.
• Clean edges with solvent and remove excess material with a file or electric trimmer.
• Inspect laminated parts for ridges or defects.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Follow basic directions given in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of laminating experience in a cabinet or wood shop.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using basic hand tools.

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
• Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
• Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision abilities.
• Work in moderately loud noise levels.
