CPI is a light manufacturing company producing contact and contactless payment cards. We are currently seeking a production employee to join our Littleton, CO facility.

Responsibilities

• Accurate operations, loading, and unloading of materials
• Error adjustments based on instructions, checklists, product specifications, and customer job ticket requirements
• Continually checks, monitors, and corrects quality issues to minimize downtime and waste
• Interprets and completes Smart Card forms and documents with high accuracy
• Maintains an accurate record of completed work in shop floor data system or manual forms as required
• Completes required audit paperwork based on job stage and equipment operated

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience; one year plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic skills to operate technical machinery
• Use a caliper and other hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Keyboard input skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal)
• Write simple reports
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
• Compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Keen attention to detail including distinguishing color
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills
• Physical Requirements: Standing position, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs., noisy environment, need for ear protection, rapid adjustments to minimize waste, repetitive tasks, full use of hands/fingers, dealing with fine detail, mental and physical fatigue, dealing with rapidly moving machinery, shifts, and potential overtime
