Lake Tahoe: Language Arts and Latin Teacher
Saint Clare's Tahoe is an independent Catholic school in the Diocese of Reno, founded in 2018. Home of the Golden Eagles, we combine a Montessori lower school (Pre-K3 through 6th grade) with a Classical upper school (7th and 8th grade), delivering a unique blend of classical education, hands-on project-based learning, and outdoor adventure.
About the role
We are seeking a full-time Middle School teacher for our Classical Upper School Program. The successful candidate will teach a combined 7th & 8th grade class following a two-year A/B cycle curriculum, covering a variety of subjects including Language Arts and Latin. The role also involves leading weekly activities such as adoration, community service, overseeing the student-run coffee shop, and outdoor adventures.
Responsibilities
- Teach Language Arts and Latin to a combined 7th & 8th grade class
- Deliver a two-year A/B cycle curriculum
- Lead weekly engagements including adoration and community service
- Oversee the student-run coffee shop
- Facilitate outdoor adventures and hands-on learning experiences
Requirements
- Devout Catholic faith and practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church
- Passion for educating young people and strong communication skills
- Undergraduate degree
- 0-2 years of teaching experience (professional development opportunities available for promising candidates)

Pay
$45,000 to $50,000 annually, based on experience and education
