Laid Back Caregiver Part-Time
About the role
Community Horizons is currently assisting a member with finding a dependable caregiver to assist her in her home, located in Eagle River, WI. The member is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to join a supportive team providing one-on-one care to a wonderful member in her home.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
- Mobility Assistance: Provide help with safe transfers, toileting, and positioning.
- Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and dishes.
- Companionship: Offer meaningful conversation, emotional support, and engagement.
Ideal Candidate
- Respectful, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks
- Attentive to individual preferences and routines
- Great communicator, friendly and easy-going
Experience as a caregiver is helpful, but not required. Bonus skills include Physical Therapy or Range of Motion experience, but it's not necessary to have these skills to apply.
About the Member
She's eager to build her team of caregivers! She enjoys being outdoors during the summer and loves the warmth of the sun. There are three affectionate dogs in the home, so animal lovers are encouraged to apply.
Pay and Schedule
The pay is $22.00 per hour, with 3-hour shifts twice daily and flexibility in the schedule.
