Lacrosse Assistant Coach - Faceoff Specialist position at Wauwatosa West High School.
Responsibilities
- Coaches lacrosse players in faceoff techniques and strategies.
- Teaches and develops players' skills, rules, and tactics.
- Mentors and develops relationships with student-athletes.
- Supervises and monitors team activities in various settings.
- Ensures compliance with NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching" course requirements.
Requirements
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- Fundamentals of Coaching course per NFHS
- Previous high school or college playing experience
- High school, club or college coaching experience
- Possess excellent organizational skills and provide program oversight
- Understands and teaches skills/fundamentals, rules of sport and associations; including technical and tactical components of the game
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and communicates clearly with athletes and parents
- Ability to supervise and monitor team in various setting
- Mentor and develop relationships with student-athletes and encourage a healthy, fun and competitive outlook in sport
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience
- Previous high school coaching experience
- Certified Educator
