Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Lacing Technician to assemble and install finned tubes into heat exchanger bundles according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install and secure finned tubes into heat exchanger bundles following detailed drawings, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Prepare tubes and headers by cleaning, deburring, and inspecting for defects or damage before installation.
  • Align, position, and insert tubes accurately into tube sheets or headers.
  • Attach or bolt all relevant bracing and air seals to the Bundle Assembly.
  • Measure and verify fit, spacing, and clearances to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and hoisting equipment safely.
  • Work closely with quality inspectors to verify that assembled bundles meet customer and internal standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Report material shortages, damaged components, or production issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purposes of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in mechanical assembly, HVAC, or heat exchanger manufacturing is helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to commute to Tulsa, OK 74117.

Work Environment

  • Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typical of metal fabrication shops.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, paint masks, respirators (when required), and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes.

Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Sunday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.
  • Occasional evening and weekday work may be required as job duties demand.
