Laborist - Chester County Hospital

About the role

We are excited to be recruiting a full-time Laborist to join Penn Ob/Gyn Chester County Hospital. We are seeking Physicians to focus on a well-rounded practice supporting women’s health. Our current provider group consists of 6 Physicians, 1 midwife and 2 Laborists who provide patient care services. Deliveries and surgeries are performed at Chester County Hospital located in West Chester, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Perform deliveries and surgeries at Chester County Hospital
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives and other physicians
• Contribute to the educational mission of the department through teaching and mentoring

Requirements

• Candidates must be board certified/board eligible in OB/GYN
• Candidates must have (or be eligible for) licensure, DEA and CDS in the state of Pennsylvania

CCH is a 329-bed inpatient complex that has been serving Chester County and the surrounding communities for more than 125 years. CCH performs around 2,500 deliveries annually and has a Level III NICU led by a team of neonatologists from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The hospital strives for a top OB patient experience with beautiful labor and delivery suites, private maternity rooms, and state of the art operating rooms. CCH utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout Penn Medicine.
