Step into a high-impact role with North Sky that values your skills, invests in your growth, and supports your life outside of work. As a Laborer Telecom Underground II (w/ CDL), you will take ownership of advanced construction projects and play an essential part in connecting communities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Underground Operations: Command advanced equipment to load, deliver, and excavate for complex underground telecom installations with precision.
  • Drive Project Quality: Precision-install telecommunications cables, inspect heavy machinery for top-tier safety, and complete daily production tracking reports.
  • Mentor & Collaborate: Work alongside Level I laborers, communicate directly with supervisors, and leave work sites pristine with full site restoration and landscaping.
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Level I laborers as needed to support projects.
  • Work in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years operating construction equipment or utility trucks in field environments.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Strong independent work ethic and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-first safety focus.
  • Capability to lift 55+ lbs.
  • Work in varied weather conditions.
  • Handle remote tasks and work extended hours/overtime when needed.

Physical Abilities & Exposures

  • Routinely work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level.
  • Operate vehicles and heavy machinery.
  • Perform tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting greater than 55 pounds.
  • Occasionally use ladder, keyboard, and mouse.
