At North Sky Communications, LLC, you will participate in all phases of underground telecommunications construction and buried wire drop installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform Field Construction: Execute day-to-day underground utility tasks, including loading materials, haul/delivery, hand digging, and operating equipment.
- Cable Installation: Install and bury underground telecommunications cabling, service drops, and wires.
- Equipment & Site Maintenance: Safely operate construction tools/equipment and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Site Restoration: Assist with site cleanup, backfilling, and surface restoration following installation.
- Daily Reporting & Communication: Complete daily production reports and maintain clear, effective communication with crew members and supervisors.
- All-Weather Work: Perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States for North Sky Communications, LLC.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.
Physical Abilities & Environmental Exposures
- Routinely: Work outdoors at heights; enter attics/crawl spaces; work independently in remote locations; operate vehicles and heavy machinery; perform physical tasks involving squeezing, fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs; and lift up to 55 lbs. without assistance.
- Occasionally: Use ladders, keyboards, and mice.

Pay
The wage range for this role is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
This position is designated as safety-sensitive pursuant to Washington state law (Wash. SB 5123). As such, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for marijuana and its metabolites.
