About the role

Focus: The Laborer Support is responsible for advancing explosive materials through an assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections using a variety of gages to ensure manufacturing specifications are achieved.
• Operate various presses and perform mechanical adjustments to complete the assembly of products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior full-time work experience preferred; manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Attention to detail including eye-hand coordination.
• Must have full vision, including color vision.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures and/or contain dangerous/hazardous materials with appropriate safety precautions and gear, lift/carry up to 30 pounds, and push up to 35 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work Weekends, including overtime.
• Location‑specific: successful vetting as an Employee Possessor per U.S. DOJ and ATF.
• Must be able to access ITAR‑controlled technical data (contingent on export license approval).
• Must obtain unescorted access per U.S. Army/DoD policies.
• Must be a U.S. citizen (non‑citizens not permitted on‑site at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant).

Pay

Starts at $22.68 per hour with increase to $25.36 after successful completion of 120‑day probationary period.

Schedule

4‑10’s Monday through Thursday; Days 5:00 AM‑3:30 PM or Evening 4:00 PM‑2:30 AM (depending on department availability).
