Laborer / Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain industrial machinery safely and efficiently
• Aid in setup, operation, and monitoring of machines during production runs
• Perform general labor tasks including loading/unloading materials, cleaning, and organizing the work area
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to adhere to safety standards and wear required personal protective equipment
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are required
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and any other required assessments

Physical Demands

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (8-12+ hour shifts)
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for prolonged periods
• Reach overhead and work with arms extended
• Climb ladders, work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground
• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines

About the Role

Great Basin Industrial is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer / Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various machinery and performing general labor duties to support manufacturing and production processes.

Compensation

Compensation: $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
