Duties and Responsibilities

• Receives direction from Tradesworker III and above.

Education, Experience, Licensing

• Graduation from high school.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to: Graduation from high school.
• Must possess the ability to climb ladders and scaffolding, dig and crawl in tight spaces, reach, stoop, squat, work outside during all seasons, and work in small spaces in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days including overtime and on call as needed.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Must be able to pass the respirator physical and become respirator certified within six (6) months of employment.
• Possession of a valid Florida Class E driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
• Must also be able to pass a criminal background check.

Supplemental Information

• Two years of carpentry experience and thorough knowledge of standard carpentry methods, codes, rules, regulations, and tools, plus the ability to work from blueprints and sketches is preferred.
• The incumbent is expected to report to work before, during and after an emergency unless excused by management.
• May be asked to wear a respirator at any time, therefore, will need to remain clean shaven at all times.

Work Hours and Days

Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. May require frequent weekend work.
