About The Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials critical to our success. What You'll Do

  • Operate heavy and light mobile equipment, including skid steers, as trained and directed to maintain quarry access points
  • Perform pre-operational checks and routine servicing of assigned equipment
  • Conduct site clean-up using hand tools and ensure work platforms remain clear and safe
  • Safely run and monitor the crushing plant as required
  • Assist with plant repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic welding and fitting, as needed
  • Handle water hoses and perform cleanup while maintaining awareness of electrical hazards and slippery surfaces
  • Report any operational or environmental issues promptly to the foreman
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and use all required PPE in compliance with OSHA/MSHA guidelines
  • Support the team in achieving high standards of productivity and environmental responsibility

What It Takes to Succeed

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
