About the role
This position is with Great Kitchens, Inc., part of the Rich Products family of companies. The role involves performing assigned tasks as directed by a supervisor while adhering to safety, quality assurance (QA), and USDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Produce a quality product that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors as required.
- Follow specific directions and training on safety, QA, and USDA rules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Assist other employees and supervisors when requested.
- Perform tasks at the pace of the production line with best effort.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including hand washing and employee hygiene plans.
- Follow all USDA guidelines.
- Report any food safety or quality issues to supervision or quality assurance.
- Comply with customer requirements when applicable.
- Uphold, follow, and maintain the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.
- Perform other duties as assigned or volunteered.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hardworking, dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work standing or walking for long periods of time.
- Work involving bending and squatting.
- Perform fast and repetitive hand motions.
- Work in cold, refrigerated, and frozen conditions.
- Able to push/pull heavy loads using a hand jack.
Pay
Hourly rate: $16.00
