Laborer - Floor Installer

About the role

Join an industry leader as a Commercial Construction Floor Underlayment Installer. You’ll support a variety of floor underlayment, sound control, resurfacing, moisture emissions, and related projects in a team-driven atmosphere with excellent job security and real, achievable advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Break open bags of gypcrete and pour them into a mixer.
• Set up the hose for pouring and connect it to the mixer.
• Operate a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carry supplies onto a job site.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Basic ability to read a tape measure.
• Hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Reliable and always on time.
• Ability to drive to various project sites.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments as required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs of product repetitively.
• Previous construction experience a plus.
• Previous experience working on a concrete crew a plus.

Pay

$18.00 to $26.00 hourly with weekly pay and performance-based increases.
