Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement, including excavation and grading.
• Assemble and place concrete forms, lifting prefabricated metal panels.
• Handle and transport concrete buckets from trucks to placement areas.
• Muck concrete slabs to ensure even distribution.
• Assist concrete finishers in using power trowels and screeds.
• Stock and transport building materials, including cement, lime, sand, and grout.
• Ensure site materials are properly distributed and maintained.
• Communicate jobsite hazards and help secure the site daily.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• CPR & First Aid Certification.
• Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawing reading.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

• Able to take initiative and provide keen attention to detail.
• Must provide own safety footwear.
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Physical demands: Heavy work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to work from heights, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, and grasp.
• Exposure to high and low temperatures, noisy environments, outdoor elements, and repetitive use of tools.
• Must be able to hear commands and operate equipment safely.
