Laborer- Civil Underground

About the role

Mirra is searching for a Laborer with construction experience to work with a proficient crew in an environment with a strong sense of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage work sites
• Support confined space entries
• Perform normal trench work duties
• Maintain and use hand tools and power tools
• Work with a wide variety of materials and learn additional skills to support team members
• Assist in performing civil construction operations to ensure quality and safety
• Support team members on site for daily work activities
• Participate in project planning, jobsite safety analysis, and pre-task planning
• Manage the safety of the site and keep it free of unnecessary hazards
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Use common power tools and hand tools including jackhammer, compactors, shovels, rakes, and demo saws
• Dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Any of: trucking experience, forklift experience, over-the-road experience, commercial driving experience, hazmat driving experience, tractor trailer experience
• Must pass pre-employment random drug screen
• Must pass background and Mass CORI check
• OSHA 10 certification in construction
