Laborer
Job Summary
Moving, sorting, stacking, palletizing, or feeding material onto the conveyor belt (where applicable). Perform and maintain general housekeeping. May operate forklift, sweeper, or other equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift Certification
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment. (i.e., uniforms, safety glasses, steel- toed shoes, hard hat, etc.)
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to handle, or feel, and reach; climb and balance.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (with assistance).
- Visual requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
