Laborer

About the role

Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is hiring Heavy Civil Construction Laborers in Joseph City, Arizona. This position offers immediate employment and the opportunity to grow with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and carries materials at jobsites.
• Uses rakes, shovels and small power tools at jobsites.
• Cleans up on jobsites to include break areas, restrooms, trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Grass mowing, weed eating, blowing, laying sod, planting, spraying weed killer, trimming, etc.
• Performs traffic control at jobsite projects as required.
• Performs various other jobsite duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn.
• Must be self-motivated and work steadily and productively.
• Adheres to all Company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, including but not limited to the safety manual, and the employee handbook.
• Maintains acceptable attendance standards per employee handbook.
• Able to use email, smart phone, tablet or computer to manage company information and documents.
