Position Summary
Responsible for providing manual labor support to projects as assigned. This may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using various equipment and tools to perform construction operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Arrive at the project site on time and participate in daily safety meetings.
- Wear safety toe boots, four-inch sleeves on shirts, jeans, or heavy pants, and any additional PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
- Clean and prepare job sites.
- Clean up work-sites from debris and machinery and remove waste materials.
- Handle and transport materials, i.e., wood, concrete, steel, etc.
- Handle power tools and materials, i.e., such as saws and drills.
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.
- Adhere to safe working practices.
- Ensure the health and safety of others.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with coworkers and customers.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Follow oral and written directions and plans.
- Able to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, walk, and work at heights for extended periods.
- Knowledge of trade tools, equipment, materials, methods, and techniques.
- Lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects while carrying tools and equipment.
- Able to work on weekends and at night when needed, sometimes with limited notice.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license.

About the Role
Our main office is in Falls Church, VA, but trade employees are expected to report directly to different project sites throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.
