Laborer
Role
This position assists several members of the crew in the completion of various tasks to successfully complete a project.
Qualifications
A GED and/or high school diploma and/or 1 years' experience.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and other basic math skills to accurately complete tasks
- Must be knowledgeable of basic tools and able to operate basic power tools such as; cordless drills/drivers, jigsaws, table saws, sanders, grinders, air compressors, tape measures, etc.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
- Assist other craft workers in doing their job functions
- Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed
- Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, or compact and level earth using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes
- Notify supervisor and address potential safety hazards in a timely fashion
- Must keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and in working condition
- Follow all Company policies and procedures and obtain certifications at Company/Client request, including but not limited to, BBP, Onsite Orientations, First Aid, CPR, Annual OSHA Training, PEC, H2S
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The role requires frequent physical activity, including lifting, bending, and moving in various environmental conditions. Work involves exposure to typical construction site conditions such as dust, noise, and outdoor weather.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Typical work hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility is required to accommodate project schedules.
