Laborer

Responsibilities

• Cook and dismantle scaffold.
• Deliver materials as scheduled.
• Clean up, protect, move material, tools & equipment.
• Calculate unit costs based on quantity of materials installed, hours worked, and labor dollars.
• Conform to all safety rules and regulations of the Company and OSHA standards.
• Ability to obtain a CDL license for delivery of materials.
• Knowledge of operation of construction equipment (such as forklifts) on jobsites.
• Arrive at work on time, at various locations.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Conform to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 120 pounds (drywall material and scrap).
• Lifting and carrying 50-60 pounds on a regular basis (lighter drywall material & scrap).
• Pushing and Pulling 50 pound carts & wheelbarrows frequently.
• Lifting and pushing 5 pound broom or floor scraper occasionally.
• Reaching and pushing 40-60 pound scrap into truck above shoulder and at shoulder height occasionally.
• Walking and carrying materials. Approximately 6 hours per day.
• Sitting in truck and driving for approximately 2-3 hours per day.
• Driving Requirements: Must conform to D.O.T. standards in391.41, Subpart E, of physical and mental capabilities, including vision of at least 20/40 in each eye without corrective lenses, and hearing capacity under number 11 of the subpart.
• Climbing stairs while carrying materials weighing 40-60 pounds when the job cannot be stocked any other way.
• Climbing in and out of truck back and cab.

Pay

Pay range for the position: $14.00 - $18.00/hour
