Essential Functions
- Remove forms from walls and columns
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones
- Smoother freshly poured concrete or concrete, using shovel, come-along, or powered vibrator
- Dig compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes
- Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications
- Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection
- Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
- Oversee filling of loads and coordinate delivery with foreman and crane operator
- Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement
- Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces
- Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns

Physical Demands of the Job
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds alone, and use of team-lifting techniques for anything heavier
- Long periods of continual standing or walking
- The ability to bend, climb, kneel, and reach
- Good balance and dexterity
- To operate equipment and spot hazards, good visual acuity is required
- To hear with or without assistance to understand instructions in noisy environments
Work Environment and Requirements
- Regularly works outdoors and may be exposed to the elements—heat, cold, rain, snow, or wind
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment, high noise levels, dust, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and potential electrical hazards
- Wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations
