Laborer

Essential Functions

• Weed eating and push mows
• Digging and backfilling of ditches
• Assisting with the construction and maintenance of grounds and facilities
• Using hand tools and some power equipment

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under unfavorable weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy articles.
• Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be in good physical condition.

Work Schedule

• Includes holidays and weekends
• Possibly some evening work hours

Minimum Training and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of the safe use, operation and preventive maintenance of the equipment to which assigned.
