Laboratory Toxicology Manager

Role: Laboratory Manager in the Toxicology department, responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff management, and regulatory compliance in a high-volume clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities Manage daily technical and non-technical activities of the Toxicology department.Supervise, train, and mentor staff and supervisors.Coordinate staffing, production schedules, and overtime to ensure operational efficiency.Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as CAP, CLIA, and ISO.Address client inquiries and resolve operational issues in collaboration with leadership and quality assurance teams. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience, including over 1 year in Toxicology.At least 3 years of leadership experience in a clinical lab setting.Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant regulations.Proficiency with laboratory information systems and computers.Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.
