Laboratory Technician (Part-time Temporary) - Eurofins Built Environment Testing - Cary, NC

About the role

This position serves as an entry level college student position working in the TEM department. This is a part-time temporary position.

Responsibilities

• Aid with quality control administrative tasks
• Receive customer correspondence and direct the information to the appropriate personnel
• Prepare samples for analysis
• Log in client samples
• Stock laboratory supplies
• Maintain, clean and prepare glassware and other laboratory equipment
• Absorb and perform special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in physical or life science
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, and a positive attitude
• Handle moderate stress
• Detail oriented
• Able to follow instructions and comply with SOPs
• Effective communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Adaptable to work in varying laboratory environments

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Pay

$16/hr

8:30 am – 5:00 pm
