Laboratory Technician, NIP

Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, analyze, and report results for test samples of bulk product, finished product and raw materials.
- Work towards learning all primary analytical methods and processes, and understand basic operation procedures of all instrumentation utilized in the lab.
- Organize and prioritize daily work to ensure that routine testing is performed in a timely manner and that all deadlines are met.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain current (time of analysis), complete, and legible laboratory records per GMP regulations.
- Communicate issues encountered with work assignments to team and Management as soon as possible.
- Contribute to a collaborative working relationship with others in the group, with production, and with other internal customers.
- Communicate clearly and ensure paperwork is complete between shifts.
- Work safely with hazardous materials.
Requirements
- BA or BS in a life science, preferably Chemistry or Biology, or a High School Degree with equivalent laboratory skill and expertise.
- Experience in a QC and/or QA function is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory and office computer systems is preferred.
- The ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is a must.
- Experience working in a GMP and FDA regulated environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team, and communicate in both written and verbal format is a necessity.
- This is an off-shift position that requires work on the weekends and also Holidays when needed.

Pay
Salary Range: USD $54,000.00 - $80,000.00. The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
