Laboratory Technician

About the role

Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for an Analyst to join our team at the Tinley Park, IL site.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Responsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
• Aliquots and weighs samples
• Washes glassware
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Requirements: BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory exposure or experience
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
• The Ideal Candidate Would Possess Experience With Preparation of samples using standard techniques
• Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Calculating data
• Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Reading, writing and speaking skills
• Problem solving skills
• Team participation and meeting management skills
• Time management and organization skills

Additional Information

• Position will be Monday- Friday, 1st shift, 9 AM- 5 PM
• Pay Range: Starting at $18.00/hr- $20.00 based on experience
