Laboratory Technician

As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform laboratory testing to provide reliable and analytical services to Operations and customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
- Complete material analysis to determine characteristics and waste profiles of all incoming waste samples in accordance with laboratory operations and procedure manuals.
- Analyze samples from plant systems to confirm conformance with proper operating limits, and perform residual analysis from incineration processes to determine land disposal restrictions.
- Operate and assist with the productive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Utilize and uphold good laboratory practices (e.g., QA/QC, safety, documentation, maintenance/minor repairs, housekeeping, professionalism).
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field (required).
- 1+ year of environmental/industrial laboratory experience (preferred).
