LABORATORY TECHNICAL POSITION TO WORK ON NEW MULTIFUNCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR THERMAL AND CHEMICAL STORAGE

Description

The IMDEA Energy Institute is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the High Temperature Processes Unit. This role involves synthesizing and characterizing new materials for thermal and chemical storage using additive manufacturing techniques and various analytical methods.

Requirements

• To be in possession of a Higher-Level Training Cycle Degree (Vocational Training of the Educational System) in Industrial chemistry, analytical techniques and quality control, or similar.
• To value accredited knowledge in the synthesis and characterization of solid and fluid materials (thermogravimetric analysis, rheology, microscopy, XRD, etc.).
• To have experience in additive manufacturing.
• To possess organizational and communication skills.
• To communicate fluently in English.

• Knowledge of English.

Conditions

• Remuneration: Between 18,000€ – 22,000€ per year, depending upon qualification and expertise.
• The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.
• Duration of the contract: 1 year, renewable based on performance.
