About the role
We are seeking a Lab Assistant (Specimen Technician I) to join a team responsible for processing and managing laboratory specimens.
Responsibilities
- Data entry of test orders and specimen information
- Pickup, delivery, centrifugation, and aliquoting of specimens
- Preparation of specimens for analysis and testing
- Identifying and resolving specimen-related issues
- Understanding the relationship between tests ordered and received specimens
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; no experience required
- Preferred experience in a production or medical environment
- Flexibility to work primarily night shifts, with potential need for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and resolve specimen issues
