Med-Pathology Essential Functions

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of independent and complex laboratory experiments such as histology, flow cytometry, functional studies, molecular techniques, gene sequencing, and related technical functions, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis.
• Ensures conformity to specifications.
• Identifies and prepares specimens for cell separation and histology.
• Oversees supply management: ordering, procurement, tracking estimates, and receiving items.
• Operates and maintains applicable laboratory equipment for job functions.
• Keeps detailed, accurate, and timely data and log books.
• Organizes, documents, and analyzes results.
• Maintains, calibrates, cleans, and tests sterility of laboratory equipment.
• Analyzes and interprets data, compiles results, and prepares reports.
• Writes manuscripts and grant proposals and prepares data visualizations.
• Trains students and laboratory personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Work Arrangement

On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab.
