Med-Pathology Essential Functions
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of independent and complex laboratory experiments such as histology, flow cytometry, functional studies, molecular techniques, gene sequencing, and related technical functions, testing, troubleshooting, and analysis.
- Ensures conformity to specifications.
- Identifies and prepares specimens for cell separation and histology.
- Oversees supply management: ordering, procurement, tracking estimates, and receiving items.
- Operates and maintains applicable laboratory equipment for job functions.
- Keeps detailed, accurate, and timely data and log books.
- Organizes, documents, and analyzes results.
- Maintains, calibrates, cleans, and tests sterility of laboratory equipment.
- Analyzes and interprets data, compiles results, and prepares reports.
- Writes manuscripts and grant proposals and prepares data visualizations.
- Trains students and laboratory personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Work Arrangement
On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab.
