Laboratory Quality Management Specialist
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Managing laboratory quality management programs in support of regulatory compliance.
- Evaluating laboratory operations through quality audits and assessments.
- Developing laboratory quality standards and procedures and monitoring training for staff.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications: You must meet one of the following:
- Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major in the fields listed above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing all the following duties:
- Managing laboratory quality management programs in support of regulatory compliance.
- Evaluating laboratory operations through quality audits and assessments.
- Developing laboratory quality standards and procedures and monitoring training for staff.
