Laboratory Hospital Supervisor

Job Summary

Seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to provide expertise and champion results. This role involves supervising technical and non-technical laboratory personnel, assigning areas and shifts, overseeing processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities may include managing quality assessment and improvement data, monitoring resource utilization, and coaching, guiding, training, and developing staff.

Qualifications

• A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science or Medical Technology is required.
• A 4-Year/Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology is helpful.
• A State of Florida Supervisor’s License OR the ability to obtain a license during the interview process is required.
• 5 years’ experience as a Medical Technologist is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Licensure in 3 technical specialties is preferred.
