Laboratory Coordinator I
The Laboratory Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for the maintenance of Ocean Engineering Lab spaces, ensuring all equipment is safe for use. This role includes maintaining records of all lab and equipment-related actions and preparing labs for certification by ABET.
Responsibilities
- Maintains Ocean Engineering lab spaces and ensures the safety of all equipment.
- Maintains paperwork related to all lab and lab equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Applies standards and participates in the ABET certification process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Laboratory maintenance experience.

- Knowledge of and ability to apply standards and participate in the ABET certification process.
Pay
$18.00 hourly

About the Department
The mission of the Department of Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M University is to conduct research, serve the public, and educate students in a broad program encompassing traditional and emerging areas of ocean engineering. The objectives of the department are to contribute to a better understanding of ocean engineering through applied and fundamental research and support the education and development of students.
